Fairfax County has no shortage of therapists.
What it does have a shortage of is practices where you actually feel like a person rather than a number.
Virginia Counseling Services is a small group practice based in Burke, in the heart of Fairfax County. We offer in-person and virtual mental health counseling for adults, couples, families, and teens. Four clinicians, each with genuine depth in their area, each added to this team for a reason.
What Makes Us Different
Most group practices are built for coverage. As many clinicians as possible, as many services as possible, as many clients as possible.
VCS was built differently.
Small by design. Four specialists, each with a real focus area. No rotating roster of strangers. No algorithm that matches you to whoever is available. A real conversation about who on our team makes the most sense for what you are dealing with.
The core belief at VCS is simple: there are many paths to getting better. The work is figuring out which one fits you.
