As Cleo transitions to Virginia Counseling Services (VCS), we want to make this process as smooth as possible for clients. Below are answers to the most common questions you may have. If you don’t see your question here, please write it on the form below!

Q: Where is Cleo’s new office located?
A: Cleo will now be seeing clients at Virginia Counseling Services, 5240 Lyngate Court, Burke, VA 22015.
Q: How do I schedule appointments now?
A: Appointments will be scheduled by Cleo. You can email him at cleo@virginiacounselingservices.com or 202-630-1765 through our main line.
Q: Will there be a break in services during the transition?
A: No. Cleo is committed to ensuring a seamless transition without interruption in care.
Q: Is the new location accessible?
A: Yes. We offer free parking and are accessible by major roads in Northern Virginia.
Q. Will I have to start treatment over?
A. The work you have done with Cleo will be unaffected. We do not interfere with your treatment!
Q. How much are sessions?
A. Individual sessions are $175 (50min). For a full list of pricing, please refer here.
Q: How will billing work going forward?
A: All billing will be handled through Virginia Counseling Services’ system. After each session, we run a credit card kept on file and can give receipts, statements, or any other documentation requested. For clients with insurance and out-of-network benefits, we submit the documents to the insurance company for you.
Q: Will my records transfer automatically?
A: We will request the records on your behalf as part of the initial paperwork in your TherapyPortal.
Q: Will I have to complete new paperwork?
A: Some brief updated intake forms will be needed, such as Informed Consent notices, VCS policies and procedure requirements, billing information, and record requests.
Q: Will my therapy remain confidential?
A: Absolutely. Your privacy and confidentiality remain a top priority, in accordance with HIPAA standards.
